While our staff works diligently to provide quality children’s programs, the success of the Central Kids' Ministry depends on volunteers like you!
Our team consists of caring adults, college students, and student volunteers. It is our goal to model Christ’s love and serve our families.
We desire to have people serve within our ministry:
- Where they feel comfortable
- Where they can use their gifts and talents
- With an age group that they enjoy
- With other people that they enjoy
How to Apply
Fill out the Volunteer Application, Background Check Consent, and complete the Ministry Safe Training. You may print a copy or come by the office to pick up one.
Bring the completed forms by the Kids' Ministry office, including a copy of your driver’s license.
Once your paperwork has been processed, then the Kids' Ministry will place and train you for your chosen ministry.

Sunday Mornings
9:45 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
Kids' Worship, Kindergarten-3rd Grade
Current Need: Storytellers
Buddys for high-functioning Special Needs Kids
11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Substitute teachers for Kinder-5th grade.
Current Need:
Helpers for all grades.
Substitutes on Sundays
Buddies for high-functioning Special Needs Kids
Other Opportunities Include:
Greeters during both hours
Tech Savvy Individuals
Individuals with Musical Talent, Leading music and playing instruments
Individuals with Storytelling Talents to assist in Central Kids' Worship on a rotating basis
Wednesday Evenings
Individuals to lead and assist with Kids' choir during the Fall.
Individuals to teach and assist our Central Kids' W.E.B.S. classes in the Spring and Summer.
AWANA
Leaders – for all age groups; Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T
Listeners – listens as the kids recite their memory verses
Game Host – lead games
Speaker – give your testimony
Other Events
Friday Night JAM Leaders, five times a year from 6:00-9:30 p.m.
Sports Camp, one week in June.
Summer Fun Days, Thursday mornings in July
