New to Central?

Our 5 Core Beliefs

  •  God is sovereign. We have freewill because he gives us limited freewill in His sovereignty.

  • Jesus’ blood is the only redemption we have.

  • The Bible is completely true.

  • Church is the only institution Satan can’t defeat.

  • He is coming back for His church!

What We Believe

We accept the Scriptures as an all-sufficient and infallible rule of faith and practice, and insist upon the absolute inerrancy and sole authority of the Word of God.

We recognize at this point no room for division, either of practice or belief, or even sentiment. More and more we must come to feel as the deepest and mightiest power of our conviction that a "thus saith the Lord" is the end of all controversy.

Purpose

We, in order to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, do hereby ordain the following to be the purpose of His Church:

  • To spread the good news of the saving grace given us through God's plan of salvation. (Matthew 28:19-20)
  • To provide discipleship to new believers in the faith.
  • To provide opportunities for worshiping the Almighty God.
  • To cultivate a growing fellowship with God, our church and the people of the community.
  • To unselfishly seek out the needs of all people and to give aid and service to those needs in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 25:35-40)

Visiting a larger church like Central can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but you'll find that we grow quite small once you're actually here. As you enter our front doors into the main foyer, you'll be greeted by the smiling faces of our volunteers at the Welcome Center -- feel free to ask them any questions you may have about our church.

Here you'll find people of all ages and walks of life. Dress on Sunday mornings is typically "business casual," but it's not uncommon to find people in their favorite pair of blue jeans and boots. We want Sunday to be a time for you to relax and focus on Christ. Don't worry about rushing to grab coffee on the way to church, we have coffee stations located throughout the main building as well as the Family Life Center (FLC) for you to fill your cup on the way to Sunday School or before the worship service.

We're about three things at Central: Biblical Teaching, Passionate Worship, and Authentic Ministry. These are more than just words, they are our driving force behind everything we do. No matter your age or background, we want you to discover and experience Christ on a personal level.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Note: We offer Spanish and ASL translations during service.

Our Sunday morning worship opportunity brings together worshippers of all generations by putting a strong emphasis on contemporary worship, featuring music from today’s most effective artists and worship leaders as well as new arrangements of great hymns. Our worship choir, vocal team, and band lead us to a place of authentic worship prior to Pastor Chris’ message.

The atmosphere is responsive and engaging and a fit for every age. In our modern worship service, you'll see every generation represented, dressed in everything from jeans to suits and ties. Bring a hungry heart, and we believe that through worship and the teaching of God's Word, you'll encounter the living God in a powerful, life-changing way.

We encourage you to be an active participant in worship. You can anticipate singing (the words are on the screen), worship through giving (the offering), and a message taught straight from God's Word.
