Special Needs Volunteers
The Special Needs Ministry is in need of volunteers to serve weekly as Buddies in the Children's wing or help out in our sensory room. We are also in need of Sunday morning subs. The Special Needs Ministry offers SO many opportunities to serve! Check them out HERE. Email if you are interested.
Welcome Center and Greeters
Central is in need of volunteers to work at our welcome center and serve as greeters on Sunday mornings. These volunteers answer questions, direct people to their groups, and serve as the welcoming face of Central to new comers. If interested contact Vanessa Astle at
Youth Life Group Teachers
Central Students is in need of Life Group teachers for 6th-12th graders. Groups meet at 11:00am. If interested contact Lauren Sheffield at
Youth Zeal Leaders
Central Students is in need of college aged volunteers to lead Zeal, our Sunday night bible study. These small groups meet from 5-6:30pm. If interested contact Lauren Sheffield at
Legacy Adults Shut-In and Nursing Home Ministry
Our senior adults ministry is looking for volunteers to connect with shut-in members of our church. In our Shut-In Ministry, volunteers are paired one-on-one with a shut-in member. These volunteers visit, pray for, send letters and cards, and occasionally run errands for our shut-in members. Volunteers in our Nursing Home Ministry lead Sunday morning worship services at area nursing homes by leading singing, playing piano, giving a 5-10 minute devotional, or just helping out one Sunday each month. We are especially in need of pianists to play hymns on a rotating schedule for Sunday worship at the Manner Nursing Home. Flourish Ministry
Flourish is a ministry to women with special needs who are looking to grow in their relationship with the Lord and find fellowship with other women. They meet on Tuesdays from 1-2:30 during the months of September, November, February, and April. They are in need of women to help with bible study and crafts and just to spend time with and ladies in attendance. If interested contact Annalee Anderson at
The Nail Pouch Ministry
The Nail Pouch Ministry is a part of the Men’s Ministry of Central and serves members of Central who are not able to handle their own home repair and maintenance needs. The needs of Central’s elderly, widows, physically challenged, and financially struggling will be considered. Other needs of the B/CS community are also considered. Anyone, young or old, who is good with their hands, mechanically inclined, or just feels called to share in the fellowship and growth that comes from helping others is welcome.

Hispanic Ministry Children's Class assistant
