In our Central Kids Gospel Project Groups, our Sunday AM Bible Study, classrooms, which are divided by grade, the teachers use a Christ-centered curriculum, the Gospel Project, that examines the grand narrative of Scripture and how the gospel transforms the lives of those it touches. Over a three-year plan of study, the beauty of The Gospel Project for Kids is seen when kids go through the full story of the Bible, not one time, but three times during their children's ministry experience. They will have studied the full scope of the Bible three times - each time understanding Scripture at a deeper level and with a wider experience. As younger kids repeat the chronology of the Bible, they recall the Bible stories and are able to delve deeper into what they mean in their lives. As older kids study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, their ability to think more abstractly enables them to apply the biblical truths in new ways. They are able to understand God's grand plan of redemption. The continual telling of God's big story is the heartbeat behind The Gospel Project for Kids. Over the course of three years, the gospel story - from Genesis to Revelation - is unpacked and kids see how every story points to Jesus. It is a story that we are compelled to tell not just once, but continually. It is the one story that changes everything.
Each GP Group room is staffed with trained volunteer teachers and assistants. If you would like to teach or help in our GP Group, check out our volunteer page.
