CHRISTIAN LEADERS ACCEPT SALVATION

By Dean Gage

CHRISTIAN LEADERS ACCEPT SALVATION: John 3:18 “Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”  We all know John 3:16 and often do not read beyond this verse to see another truth so important to our salvation.  It is also an answer to those who will say that a loving God would not send anyone to hell.  God sends no one to hell as the decision is a personal decision and free will given to man from the beginning.  As a Christian leader, you have made the decision to accept salvation according to John 3:16 and many other Scriptures.  It is an eternal decision, an everlasting decision, that can never be lost or taken away.

My wife shared a quote which she recently read that applies: “Hell is not full of people who God rejected.  Hell is full of people who have rejected God.”  Our salvation is free to us but it did not come cheaply as it costs God his only Son.  He paid the price which we could never pay and then gave it to us for free.  When was the last time that you stopped in your daily prayer to thank Him again for salvation and that you know Him and He knows you?  I did that this morning as I was praying during my morning run.  I often thank Him for many things but I should always start with thanking Him for what He did on the cross and for my own salvation.  His promise makes me believe and know that I am not and will never be condemned.  Too often, we take for granted or even forget what we have been given and what cannot be taken away.
