GOD IS HONORING OUR DECISION: Since the Central family made the unanimous decision to now build the new Children’s Building, God has touched many hearts to give far beyond what was seen. This past Sunday, September 27, we received $163,885 which brings our total given in the first four months to $1,606,000. If you have not yet started giving, there could be no greater time than now.

NEXT STEPS: Much work has begun to pick up the pace as the Construction Oversight Committee has been meeting to detail a strategy to work with the Architect on the construction documents and pricing of all the building components. We had a meeting last week in Dallas with the Architect and the Children’s Theme Company to clarify the scope, schematic design and other important details. This work has commenced and will require many hours of continued planning and discussion.

GREAT NEWS: At the end of our meeting last week with the Architect, a new Schedule was given which was great news for us. If all goes well, the date for Groundbreaking will be next April 17, 2016, with completion and move in to be Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. Please remember that all construction schedules are subject to many variances, but we feel good about these dates.
