REACH UPDATE: God has now provided more than $4.7 M for the new Children’s Building through you, our Central Family, and we should reach more than $5.0 M by the end of the year with your continued faithfulness. The project cost is $13.7 M, so all our church family must continue to be obedient and good stewards.

BRICK PAVER NAMING PROGRAM: Many people and families are waiting for the time of completion to get closer to purchase bricks to honor and memorialize family and friends. Christmas would be a great time for you to give a gift that will become a legacy to God’s glory for those whom you love.

CONSTRUCTION: Construction continues to move forward with utilities and drywalls being completed inside the building and the concrete and paving being done outside for the sidewalks, parking and new driveways. The contractor is trying to catch up for some lost time due to workers helping in Houston following Hurricane Harvey.

OTHER CONSTRUCTION: The exterior paint selections have been made and the current Worship Center and Family Life Center will be repainted with color coordination for all three buildings. The plans for renovation of the current Preschool and Children/s spaces are being completed so that this work can commence without delay when we occupy the new Children’s Building. This will help us meet our Youth, Special Needs and Adult Education space needs. 

UPCOMING EVENTS: The Building Coordinating Committee is planning several important events in the coming months. One will be a time of celebration and praise for what God has already provided to pay for the new facilities. This is currently scheduled to be on Sunday, November 5, 2017. In the Spring 2018, we will have a call for an extension of pledges for another three years of the REACH Campaign by the Central family. We believe that this extension will move us to totally complete the $13.7 M construction costs. After occupying the new building in the Spring 2018, we will have a Building Dedication and an Open House for the church family and the entire B/CS community to honor what God has done for us to REACH the hearts of families and children for Christ.
