The Capital Campaign for the new facilities began last Sunday, November 16, 2014, with the Orientation and Team Training of the leadership teams.  Lamar Slay, our consultant with Partners in Church Consulting, met with all the leaders to provide the overview of the entire process.  This campaign will be Christ honoring and focus on personal interactions to allow God to touch our hearts.  Lamar is a former youth minister and pastor who will guide us spiritually and procedurally to ask God to provide all the funding needed for this major project.  The actual public kickoff events will be coming in April of 2015, after Easter.  You will hear more during the interim period and be asked to help in this major undertaking.

Meetings are continuing weekly with the architect to refine the facilities program of requirements and blocking drawings of building location and schematic design.  These will be shared with the church in the next few weeks so that the church family can see what is needed and being considered.  This is an exciting time for our church and essential to our continued ministries to reach more people for Christ. 

Pray for these two efforts and that God will supply every dollar needed for this important expansion.
