REACH AND GIVING: At the end of this month of May, we will have reached the end of our second year of pledges and giving for the Children’s Building. The third year of our giving program will begin on June 1, 2017. To date, we have received $4.232 M on our way to the $13.7 M cost of the new Children’s Building. If you need to complete your second year pledge and giving, please give before May 31. If you have not yet started giving to help do what God has called us to do, now is the best time to start. This is a Central family project to reach families and children for Christ which needs all of us to participate and give. If we all participate at some level and will continue to give after the third year, we can pay the full amount in only six years. 

CONSTRUCTION: It is exciting to see the walls up and the foundation/flooring moving toward completion. The supporting steel erection will soon begin to tie the walls together and form the roof support. Once the roof is in place, the interior and finish can begin without weather delays. Our schedule calls for a December completion of this year. Pray that this completion time can be achieved so that we could occupy the building by the beginning of the New Year.

CHILDREN’S THEMING: Staff is working with the Little Mountain Company to have all the children’s theming completed and ready for installation once the interior has reached appropriate completion. There will not be a children’s facility in the entire Brazos Valley like this one and it will be a huge ministry to our families, as well as an outreach to the community. 

BRICK PAVER PROGRAM: This exciting new program was launched a few weeks ago and many families are purchasing named bricks to honor their children, grandchildren and parents. Others are making these purchases to memorialize family members; while others are making the purchase for their own family to become a lasting and permanent legacy of their support of this new building. Named bricks are only $100 each with the money going to the Children’s Outside Playground. Ordering information is on the Central website or forms can be picked up at the Visitor’s Center. We would like to have at least 1,000 bricks purchased by the end of the Summer. Have you bought yours?
