BUILDING PLANNING: The construction documents are now projected to be completed in mid-April for obtaining the building permit and final pricing. Many hours of work are going into this final process with staff, committees, architect, children theme design and contractor all working together to keep us on budget and on time. The current timetable calls for construction to start in May or June with a 12-month construction period. The new parking lot will be the first part of the process since the new building will be located on the existing parking area next to the FLC.

CONSTRUCTION COMPANY SELECTED: The R. M. Dudley Construction Company has been selected as the General Contractor for the project and has been working closely with our architect and engineers to complete the construction documents. This company has done several projects for the church in the past with an excellent working relationship and cost containment.

REACH UPDATE: Giving to the new Children’s Building is now approaching the $2.2 M amount on our way to the total project cost of $13.7 M. Please continue to pray for God to meet this need and for your part in it.
