YEAR 2015 WILL BE EXCITING

As we enter 2015, there is much anticipation and excitement as the schematic drawings for the new Preschool and Children Building and Renovation of existing space for youth, senior adults and special needs ministry all move forward.  On January 14, 2015, the architect and contractor showed us the latest drawings, interior design and outside elevations.  There will not be another facility or ministry like this in our area.  The next meeting will include the interior design company, Little Mountain of Tulsa, OK, which will begin to expand the themes to be used in the Preschool and Children Building.  These will all be ministry driven to reach the hearts of families and become the Christ centered location for the entire Brazos Valley.  The fund raising campaign is about to launch in the next few weeks as much planning has already begun.  Every member and attendee of Central will be given the opportunity to become a part of what only God can do.  Only He can supply the money to build what is needed to meet the ministry He has given us.  The fund raising campaign will be called “Reaching Families’ Hearts.”  This is exactly what this expansion of buildings and ministries is all about.  The times in which we live have made it crystal clear that our ministries and opportunities have never been timelier, more needed and spiritually impacting.  Our families and our children are under attack and Central has been called to provide them the only hope, Jesus Christ.  God has led us, provided for us and blessed us to our strategic position in the Brazos Valley today.  Our overcrowding and space needs are due to our obedience as a church to God’s call in the past and present.  We must trust Him to continue to keep His hand on us and He will meet our money requirements for both ministries and buildings.  We cannot do it, but He can and will.  We owe it to those who have gone before us to provide for us now and for those who will come after us.  We already have the largest preschool, children and youth ministries in the Brazos Valley, but we have only begun to scratch the surface of those families who need to know about Jesus and to mature their walk with Him.

Pray the promise of Jeremiah 33: 3 “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you did not know.”
