There are many hours of work happening behind the scenes that will soon become the vision and commitment of the Central family as we follow God’s blessings of growth and leadership.  The “Reaching Families’ Hearts” Campaign held training sessions on February 8-9, for the Information Team volunteers.  These loyal members of Central will be calling you throughout the Spring to invite you to many different events where we will share what God has called us to do to reach more families for Christ. 

We are meeting regularly with the architect, interior designer and builder to complete the schematic design of the new building, a new traffic and parking plan and a relocated drop off area for the Family Life Center.  We are also working with a local team on the design and cost estimates for renovation of the vacated space.  We must know these costs as we move forward and set the goals for “Reaching Families’ Hearts.”  We hope to soon know the costs of the following:

1. The New Preschool and Children’s Building
2. Replacement and New Parking and Traffic Lanes
3. Renovation of Vacated Preschool and Children’s Areas

The Communications Team is hard at work developing all the media and written materials for our church family to grasp the vision and magnitude of what is calling us to do.  Each family will receive a brochure and informational packet with all the details and answers to questions.  Look for this to be placed in your hands in the next few months, as well as many other avenues to communicate the future of Central.

One thing is becoming evident.  God has begun His work in the hearts of our church family as people have already given almost $140,000 before we even start the open process.  Our severe overcrowding which is impacting our ability to reach more families is touching the hearts of our people.  Much work is ahead for our family as we take God at His Word and step out again in faith to reach the Brazos Valley for Christ.  We are Central to that vision, ministry and mission.
