As we celebrate Christmas and 2014 comes to an end, the building expansion reminds of us that we would not need to expand our ministries for Christ if God had not given us His Son more than 2,000 years ago. For God so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son and all we now do should be to honor Him and show our thanks and praise for what He gave. This building expansion is NOT about buildings and renovations, but about reaching families for Christ and spiritually impacting the whole Brazos Valley. Yes, we have to provide facilities to meet the space needs of our ministries and the people we are trying to disciple and reach. However, the focus and priority of what we are doing must be on the One Who made it all possible and Who is faithful to make it happen. The fundraising campaign will be called, “Reaching Families’ Hearts.” You will begin to hear much more about this in the coming months as we pray that every member of Central will let God use them to provide the money needed for the expansion project. Our God is faithful and He will bring it to pass. Faith is simply taking God at His Word and being obedient to what He tells us. As the year ends, our church family is reminded to give above and beyond the tithe to the church budget and to give offerings to bring the expansion to pass. 

I Thessalonians 5: 25 “Faithful is He who calls you, and He will bring it to pass.”
