The REACH Campaign to raise funds for the new Children’s Building is in full swing with one week of Vision Desserts behind us. Every church member will be invited to one of these important times. If you have not received an invitation yet, please call Becca Thibodeaux in the church office. The mail service and some record keeping have presented some problems for us.

This week, our update is to summarize to the church family the incredible financial blessings that God has provided Central in the last few years. These confirm the faithfulness of our God when we obediently stepped out in faith and trusted Him. We have carefully balanced our ministry needs with our facilities’ expenditures. Our current facilities constitute more than $26.5M including the 112 acres of property, the Worship Center, the Family Life Center and the furnishings and equipment. By the end of this year, the Family Life Center will be paid in full and the Worship Center paid down to less than $3M. The property and Worship Center had a cost of $19.3M and the Family Life Center was $5.7M. We have also purchased at least $1.5M in furnishings and equipment. By the time the new Children’s Building is completed in 2017, the Worship Center loan should be no more than $1.5M. God has supplied these resources through regular church budget and gifts/offerings. The REACH goal is for God to provide the full $13.7M needed for the new Children’s Building. Our annual church budget in 2003 when we moved to this site was $2.5M and is $5.2M this year. Our budget is more than double and we have almost 2,000 more members today than in 2003. If God trusted us with a $19.3M project at that time, we are confident that God will provide the way for this $13.7M project. 

We can only do this if all our people participate and get in on what God will be doing. Some families can give large and major donations while others can only give smaller amounts. The issue is that all must do their part and God will honor each one accordingly. This is a family spiritual issue which will have great spiritual impact on our church and God’s Kingdom.
